Update 12/19/16 - After breaking both of my wings several times because I have soft bones, I recently had my left wing amputated because it had a tumor. But wings are over rated, who needs to fly? I`m a trooper, and with a few cage modificatins, I get along just fine! . But the good news is that I am doing better than ever! I have a new pal called Super Duper, but I`m the one who is Super! Me and Supe are ready for adoption, so contact our coordinator and ask for the Super Duo (I just made that up)!
In nature, cockatiels live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single cockatiel to a household if there is already at least one cockatiel living there. Otherwise, cockatiels must be adopted in groups of two or more.
