Hi, I`m Poppy. I was found in the backyard of my foster mom when I wasn`t even weaned yet. I was soon adopted but came back to Mickaboo because my mom got sick. I love to sing and chatter and I love the company of other birds. My foster mom says I`m a happy boy! I will step up when I feel like it and like almost everyone. I eat pellets, veggies and love popcorn. If you need a companion for your bird or just want some happiness in your life, just ask for Poppy.
In nature, cockatiels live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single cockatiel to a household if there is already at least one cockatiel living there. Otherwise, cockatiels must be adopted in groups of two or more.
