Hello, I`m Comet, a baby budgie probably six months old or less, which means we`re not sure if I`m a boy or a girl. I`m just a sunny yellow budgie, with a green tummy. If you`re looking for a baby bird, I`m your guy/gal! Baby budgies are easy to train - to perch on a finger, or just to be a shoulder surfer. All it takes is patience and gentleness. No yelling or loud noises!

In nature, parakeets (budgerigars) live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single parakeet to a household if there is already at least one parakeet living there. Otherwise, parakeets must be adopted in groups of two or more.
