Hi everyone, I`m Skipper, an older Nanday Conure who`s looking for my forever home. I loved my dad a lot, but unfortunately he became sick and had to get a friend to find me a good home. Thankfully, she found Mickaboo, so now I get to hang out with some other Nandays while I wait for my forever home.

When I first came to Mickaboo, I was very quiet and didn`t ever want to leave my cage. Now, while I`m still a bit shy, I`ve become a lot more comfortable and started exploring around outside my cage. I step up really politely (I`ll raise a foot to let you know I`m ready), and I love sitting on someone`s lap getting head rubs.

While Mickaboo was told I was fifteen, I show some signs of arthritis and the vet thinks I`m probably older. To help me move around, I`m taking a little bit of daily medication, which has really helped me bloom. I can fly really well, even if I don`t like flying much, and I prefer to be ferried around to my cage, which has a ton of rope perches now to help me move easier.

I really like boings and rope perches, and I love orange slices, blueberries... and most of all bells! I love sitting right under my bell, wearing it as a hat. It`s the way bells are meant to be used, after all!
