Hi, my name is Annie! I came to Mickaboo in November 2021. I flew into a house in San Leandro. My finder searched for my owner but no luck so I came to Mickaboo. I tested clean at the vet when I came here, and I am safely ensconced in a foster home.

I like to listen to music and sing along, especially Rock n Roll and "Forest Bird Sounds" my foster mom plays on Alexa. I really enjoy playing with my toys and will cuddle in at night on my swing.

I have a pretty easy time getting along with new bird friends so I am happy to enter a household that might need a friend for an existing budgie. But if you are looking for a pair, I do have some foster sisters that need forever homes too!

In nature, parakeets (budgerigars) live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single parakeet to a household if there is already at least one parakeet living there. Otherwise, parakeets must be adopted in groups of two or more.
